Ride as you are

No plaits.
No dress code.
Just ride.

We care about the quality of your riding, not what you're wearing. Wear what you train in. No plaiting or competition dress required.

Your judge will assess your horse's way of going — rhythm, suppleness, connection, impulsion, straightness, collection. The fundamentals that matter at every level.

Bill Noble in competition — NZ Hall of Fame dressage judge
Head Judge Bill Noble
Our Judge

Hall of Fame. Your scoresheet.

Bill Noble is one of New Zealand's most decorated dressage figures — a rider, trainer and judge whose career spans Grand Prix and the Olympic stage over four decades.

For most riders, that calibre of eye is something you travel for. Through Schoolers Dressage Online, it's the eye watching your test. Whether you're at Introductory or Advanced, you'll receive the same considered feedback.

NZ Hall of Fame

A career honoured by the sport's highest national recognition.

Grand Prix Trainer

Trained with Herbert Rehbein in Germany, and offered places at the Swedish National Equestrian Academy and the Spanish Riding School. He has carried that foundation into every horse he's brought through to the top of the sport, with more than a dozen taken to Grand Prix under his hand.

Olympic Coach

Coach to Sir Mark Todd at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics — where Todd and Charisma took individual gold — and then to the New Zealand Eventing Team at Seoul 1988.

Five Time NZ Horse of the Year

Five Horse of the Year titles on three different horses — the only rider to win three consecutive Dressage HOY crowns. A leading British trainer before emigrating to New Zealand in the 1990s; now based in Cambridge, Waikato.
